1. You did.

2. SUVs are ugly.

Tesla cuts US prices for fifth time since January

This time by $5k for each of the S and X.

Should help industry EV prices continue their downward path.

I guess to be fair since every other automaker caught up and came up with numerous EVs for different needs and wants, Tesla basically no longer have a selling point. I mean Tesla is also considered as a "luxury" brand to some so sells at luxury prices, comparing them to MB, MB is clearly way better as an result of being the inventor of the modern automobile, things like fit and finish is just way better as they have way more experience.

MB is going to have to step up their game because at the current price point they are going to have a lot of EVs sitting on the lot. My dealer who I have been doing business with for over 15 years has almost 25 EVs in stock both S and E's and two 2022 EQS sedans. These guys sell a lot of vehicles and are fair so if they have all of these sitting around I guess others may have more.

They are already offering a lot of incentives in the USA to move these vehicles. $10,000+ I think?

20% off MSRP and $7500 tax credit would be motivating. But that tax credit is gone based on income limit and whatever new rules they made up.

Make the EQE 350 RWD under $55K, then I will buy.

You probably have to look elsewhere.
Wait for the next gen EQC - even then I am not sure if it would come under $55k.

Yes, I know it will not happen. I don't dream about it. That's why I switch the target. It is the VW ID.7, that will fit my goal.

If the new C-Class W206 price increase over last generation was any indication, you are probably right that it might not come under 55K.
