Raising EQS sedans in US
It is unfortunate that they disabled the "Raise vehicle level" function in the settings screen for the US drivers.
Obviously raising the vehicle to transport level is not the same as missing "Raise vehicle level" function available everywhere else in the world.
There is a warning that If the vehicle is raised to transport level, driving and driving safety systems have only limited availability.
I was hoping to use this transport level mode in snow when visiting the mountain ski areas where not all the roads are cleaned after snow.
I wonder what is the reasoning for the omission of "Raise vehicle level" button in the US.
Anyone interested in activating the Transport mode briefly for avoiding an occasional obstacle:
page 397 EQS SEDANOwner's Manual
Without pressing the the brake pedal turn on the car's screen by pressing the start button.
Press the back button for at least five seconds.
Immediately press and hold the OK button for at least one second.
The "For Transport Level" Switch On Vehicle message is displayed".
Select vehicle transport.
Start the car like you usually do by pressing the the brake pedal and the start button.
Swipe downward to select Transport Level and press OK.
Don't forget to switch it off.
Lowering the vehicle:
Switch on the vehicle.
In Transport Settings, swipe up to select the Standard Level and press OK.
The vehicle is adjusted to the height of the last active level and the "Lowering Vehicle"… message is displayed.
After the vehicle has been lowered, press the back button for at least two seconds.
the picture below shows that non US EQS have the "Raise vehicle level" function.

Transport raising function must have been there from the beginning for the US and the rest of the world because it is in the owners manual.
And for the consumers outside of the US the raising button was available for a long time ago in the main functions menu.

Does this caution makes the ride different than regular raise button function in other countries?
They both limit the speed to 30mph.
