Hand Gestures

EQS 2023 Sedan. Is their a way to turn off "Hand gestures" in the MBUX assistant system? It becomes a little annoying when you use your hands while talking and some car functions activate!

Thanks

I also find it very annoying but I leave it on for some reason. lol

The worst and best one is when you reach into the passenger seat. Its great when it works correctly and turns on the light but it is extremely annoying when it doesn't disable as it is supposed to when there is a passenger sitting in the seat.

And how often does one need to turn on the light on the passenger side?

I do quite often. Whenever I get in the car alone if I have anything in my hands it goes in the passenger seat or on the floor on the passenger side.

Auto Lock

Another question if you don't mind.

My car unlocks automatically when I approach it. Is there a way to have it "auto lock when I leave the car?

Thanks again.

As far as I know, there is none, auto lock if the door wasn't open without half a minute (or was it a minute) if accidentally pressed the unlock button, yes that is a feature but the key thing is the door cannot be opened once. However locking when walking away or auto lock after a few minutes is not a feature on MBs.

Love to be wrong though.
