This might be an issue. My Windows laptop is slow as molasses in January. It was a top of the line HP unit that supposedly met all Windows requirements, but it has always been a dog. My Macs run circles around it before it finishes booting. I might try running Windows in a virtual machine on my Mac, that will certainly be faster. Does your system support Windows for Arm?
Your laptop is going to run TeamViewer and some other smaller apps. IIRC, it's just functioning as a pass-through device. I would not plan on running this on a Windows VM (especially on Apple Silicon) unless Elebest posts something here to the contrary. I actually used a freshly built Windows 10 install on Bootcamp on an older Intel-based MacBook (which I wiped off the machine once I was pretty certain everything was working as expected).

Thanks for you post.
If your laptop is top line with 10 year old. I believe no issue, wipe off all, and re-install a full fresh windows system, install Teamviewer, no need install anything else. and test your network speed in your garage, make it above 200mbps. If you dont want to bother, go walmart, or any IT shop, grab one, just use it for 1-2 days. This laptop is not something big deal, windows laptop is everywhere. Easy to find one.

I bought it for my mother in law as HP promised it met all the Windows Vista requirements to perform well. However, in practice, it was and is terrible. Even the ten year old at the time Sony Viao with XP ran circles around it. After that, my in-laws all switched to Macs and have never looked back; much better performance, no virus issues, easier to use, and far more reliable. And I don't have to help them with IT issues every month! I have kept it for the one or two applications I need to use that are Wintel only, booting it about once a year (e.g., some tax info could only be submitted from a Wintel laptop for several years).
I'll see if I have an old Intel Mac I can install bootcamp on, that likely would be better than spending money on a new laptop that will spend most of its time as a dust magnet.

You could also borrow a laptop if you know someone who is willing.
@EleBest Is there any concern on voiding the factory warranty by doing this mod?
Has anyone here had any issues with their dealer after the update?
I haven't read about a single owner having an issue with any dealer from their coding. Some have reported the custom coding to be overwritten with the stock coding but that's it.
I have personally coded my BMW's and Porsche's, never ever had a dealer problem.
With the Benzo, I guess we'll find out. I have a few niggling problems with my EQS SUV, and it's going in tomorrow for some warranty work. I've asked them to update MBUX while it's there (which should have nothing to do with my coded headlights, but, hey).

In winter, this coding is quite necessary: by default, heating High can only last 7-8 min, means it will be auto drop to heating mid. So people has to adjust to high again manually. After our coding: you can keep it for x min, x can be 0-255. For this customer he choose 30 min as his preferred timing.
