I received this message from Mercedes several hours ago. They obviously fixed the bugs that were preventing plug and charge.
Dear Customer,
We have successfully installed the Plug & Charge certificate on your vehicle, therefore Plug & Charge is now ready for you to use. This feature enables you to conveniently recharge at Electrify America and other charging stations with Plug & Charge capability: simply plug in and start charging straight away. Your vehicle will automatically authenticate at the charging station and billing runs automatically in the background. You can use the filtering feature in the MBUX Vehicle Navigation or Mercedes me connect App to find Plug & Charge compatible charging stations.
