Talking tire pressures (again)

Model eqs 580 sedan 21in rims. The recommended door jamb pressure...41F 48R
Temp are in the 30s so I had to adjust. At max pressure the ride is slightly less plush (imperceptibly more jittery). Everything else is noticeably improved, handling, large impact isolation, road feel, steering accuracy and feel. Unfortunately, this week is also snow tire swap time. The winter set are 19s. They are not bad dynamically, but they lack that sharpness at the limit that I like. The 580 is more of a fast cruiser than a sports car so every little difference is noticable.
When winter is over, Im considering swapping to the Michelins, which have always been my favorite high performance tire.

2022 Mercedes EQS 580
I’m a Michelin fan too, but on this car I would get the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 Run on Flat tire.

I’m a fan of run flats on the EQS because they increase steering response. Plus they have the benefit of being drivable when flat which has happened to me 3 times so far.

the Goodyear is also very impressive. I had them on my first EQS. Love them compared to the Pirelli I have now.

I have the F1 now. They are great, however, they are not runflat. I have had PS 4s on all my previous vehicles and have always found them to be the best overall sport tire bar none. The only thing on the PS4 that is less than class leading is the steering response. Compared to Pzeros or Contis is that are not as "quick", however on the EQS, that may be a positive since the steering is a tad too quick and a less responsive tire might be more appropriate. Note all these impressions are from both the track and road, for example Pzeros are super fun on the track, however, the PS4 has even more grip and better road manners. Finally the PS4 lasts significantly longer. My Pzeros lasted one weekend at the road course. The PS4 were still in good shape after a similar pounding. Pzeros are great on the drift utterly predictable, the PS4 have even greater lateral grip but break out with a snap rather than a smooth predictable slip.
Regardless all these ultimate performance tires are superb, they duffer only at the edge of the envelope, however the PS4 have the edge on normal road civility and longevity which is what the EQS (in counterpostion to an AMG) is all about , even the EQS AMG version. From the reports Ive read, the EQE AMG is more of a true "Hammer" descendant.
