Navigation Map Update
How would it be possible to get an update to my navigation maps? Some previously under construction roads and ramps have been completed. My car is 8 months old and the map is the same as when it was new.

Map updates for your home region are automatically installed over the air. There's an update about every 6 months. You can also go to the web portal and download a full update if you want to also update all the other regions. It will also tell you if your car is up to date. New roads may take some time to be included in the map before they show up in a future update.

Nope, it's configured in the web portal. You can change it to whatever you want. See the above link.

It happens over the air automatically about every 3 mths or so.

Over the air updates are for the home region and also for the "foreign" regions if you drive to any. Perhaps less of a US thing, isn't USA one region? Perhaps between USA and Canada? In any case, I would update manually in advance (as superswiss explained) for a road trip abroad.
PS. automatic updates must be enabled, not sure if it was already mentioned.
