30 minute free charging Electrify America question
Does anyone know if the ChargePoint network is now included in the 30 minute free charging in addition to Electrify America with the EQS? Also, does the new cap on free charging go by the purchase date or the production date of the car since it has and RFID card associated with it? I believe it was unlimited prior to October 2023.

Only Electrify America and Mercedes Benz charging network are free for 30 mins for the first owner for 24 months after first activation.
ChargePoint is a hardware makers unlike Electrify America, EVgo, Mercedes Benz charging network and Shell who offer charging services and the app itself.
also the no time limit charging was a special timed event from June thru October 2023 due to EA backend changes and policy shifts. It was offered (poorly communicated) to existing and new owners.
30 min charging is more than enough, specially when free just pre conditioning battery prior to arriving to charger and charge to what you need to get home or next stop.
charging to 100% in a public DC fast charger is a pretty bad etiquette and very inconsiderate behavior.

Charge Point does have it's own network as well as chargers. My local Hyundai dealer has 2 level 3 125kw chargers.
