USB media issues for dashcam recording

'23 EQS 450 4-matic sedan. I use four of the USB-C ports in my car - three for music and one for dashcam recordings. The locations are the two in the cupholder area plus the two in the console enclosure. Every time dashcam recording starts, it randomly selects one of these four. It requires me going into APPS, DASHCAM, STOP RECORDING, SELECT MEDIA, then restart recording. The music media are not able to be write protected which would solve the problem. My intended dashcam media is very large capacity, and overwrites as I've selected once it fills up. What is the solution to **permanently** designating one and only one media I want used for dashcam recordings?

Do you have the dashcam folder created on more than one USB memory?

The car automatically creates these dashcam folders on my three music media. Several times I have taken the music media out of the car and manually deleted these folders on my PC, thinking that would solve the problem. The car just recreates them.

I just went with a single 512gb memory stick with 213gb of lossless music and let the dash cam use the rest. Every week or so I get a message saying that the drive is full and will be overwritten.

Do you know of a way to not have that message pop-up? It is pretty annoying.
