2024 EQS 580
2025 EQS Availability

Any sense when allocations for the 2025 EQS 580 become available? My 2-year lease of my 2023 EQS expires in November...

Should be Q4 of this year. Btw, MB is doing a 5 payment pull ahead program on EQ leases. They'll waive the last 5 payments if you get into a new car from them.

Thanks. Decided to renew my lease with a 2024 model instead. Very attractive incentives these days...

EQS
Any update on when 2025 will become available? I haven't been able to find a 580 that is a match for my 2022 and am trying to figure out whether I'll be able to get a replacement by March or if I should extend my lease and wait. There's also the question of whether the 7500 credit will exist in March, but I figure that MB will have to come up with something to keep sales going if that particular government benefit goes away. Thanks!

I have heard rumors from unofficial sources that Tesla has backed out of the Supercharger sharing deal with MB, and they are actively trying to renegotiate it. Meanwhile, new EQS vehicles, which were built with NACS charging ports, are on hold. That could explain why none are available yet, don't know. Maybe one of the more knowledgeable members, who always seem to have insider info, could comment?

I don’t think the 2025 EQS was supposed to get the NACS charger. That would happen next year.

Has anyone heard what EA is doing once the NACS charging system becomes universal? If the Tesla deal gets delayed, where does one charge a car. My 2 years of free charging ends tomorrow, so I won’t be frequenting EA anymore unless I go on an extended drive. My home charger will be just fine for my needs. The promise of a robust charging system coming soon when I bought my car hasn’t materialized. I can only imagine the confusion and frustration once the NACS system ramps up.

I'm sure they'll replace the connectors on the ends of their cables in due time, in the meantime we'll all have to use adaptors - it's no big deal.

Due time is the question. I’ve been waiting almost three years now. Adapters are no problem. Musk changing his software to allow us to charge is the problem……and promises broken.

Wow, range looks great! 367 on the 450 4Matic, 371 on the 580, and 390 (!!) on the 450+! Even 315 on the AMG. Especially impressive considering how much more conservative/tougher testing regiment MB has switched to, meaning if following the 2023 testing style, the 450+ would have likely been rated at 410+ miles and the rMatics at 380+ miles, pribably better estimates for real world range.

I'll bet those are conservative estimates. My 22 450+ often (in the Summertime) gets 370 at 80% charge now. It'll go over 400 on a 100% charge.

My '22 EQS 580 has had significant range decrease recently and I've had to stop and charge 40 miles earlier than I used to on the highway. Not sure if it's related to the weather or tires or both.

By the way, the 580 with the beautiful AMG rims really eats up tires. The car came with the Bridgestone LFT run flat. Not sure if there is some other tire that is better.
