I'm dumping my 2022 EQS 580 without regrets.
I can't leave town in it with no level 1 charging in range.
The promised infrastructure has never materialized, thanks Joe..
The car seldom garners a second look with it's oddball styling nowhere near reflecting what I paid for it!
The depreciation is a disaster.
No more early adoption again for me without leasing.
I'm going back to hybrids where the market seems to be headed.
Nice ride, poor looks, bad investment.
Y'all take care.

Infrastructure sucked when I bought my EQS. But I bought it thinking that the infrastructure would drastically improve. 3yrs later and Is basically the same... TERRIBLE!
I never care what other peoples thoughts or opinions are and I am not an attention seeker so that's not a problem for me.
I am also curious about what your next vehicle is or will be?

The infrastucture is an issue for sure. Don't know where you live but that would not be the case for me as my only out of town destinations would be supported by DCFC if needed or not needed for a round trip given one of my destinations.
As far as the looks they were in general negatively viewed when it came out so that shouldn't be a surprise that people didn't trip over themselves complimenting you on it. I think the EQS looks good with the AMG package and in the right colors like Nautical blue.
The depreciation is only an issue when you sell it. On that score you might be better off keeping it and amortizing the depreciation over a longer period.

Sorry to see you go. I am constantly complimented on how my EQS looks and what a bearty it is. I use mine mostly locally, so charging infrastructure is not as much of an issue for me. Access, however, is constantly improving in Texas. Who cares about depreciation....I don't "invest" in cars. I love my EQS.
