This has got to be the 2026 facelift right?

2025 is the mini-facelift bringing the new grille and stand up star... This one in the video above is the one that's actually a facelift and switch to 800V architecture. Looks like it's coming quickly. Almost makes you wonder what the point of the 2025 model is...

Yes this is the actual facelift, although kind of strange they put the standing star and modified the grille for a 2025 model year and then 2026 is the full facelift, they could had saved it for 2026, unless facelift doesn't come out until late 2026 as 2027 model year, I am hoping that is not the case.

If I recall, the 580 is a little faster, but the 450 is still super quick.

Also, I read another post that someone may extend their lease to order the 2026 because the style will change. Is extending a lease a reasonable financial option?

I’d love any opinions, thank you!
A 450 plus. AWD, faster than the RWD. Less money, more range. The issue is what features from the 580 you are willing to do without.

Of the 5 MB's Ive owned, NONE has had an "bonnet star". Im not starting after my 580. I hope that they continue an AMG style option to avoid it, when I swap mine for the next one though Ill probably trade it for a "real" AMG version. I test drove it and REALLY liked it. Basicly, in "normal" it drove like the 580 in sports and got sharper from there. I love my 580, but I wouldn,t mind if the default mode was edgier. Last year I swapped the tires for the AMG's pilot sports. It has made a big difference, in Sport mode it does feel a lot more agile and the increase in grip is a lot more than I expeted it to be. Still not quite a sport car but close enough for now.

The standing star is an option. You will be able to get the grille as it is now or the standing star.

Personally the standing star is one of my favorite things about my S580, its unique and special since nobody does them anymore.

Certainly strange and confusing in MB's naming scheme in that case. I wonder if plus stands for plus more fun by drifting... Or more tail happy with rwd.
