Christmas present?

However, I remain steadfast in my resolve that…it will…happen some day. I still recall buying my first EV ( 2018 Model 3) with the Musk of self-driving coming soon. Today is 6 plus years since & still not even close to level 5, er, 4, er, 3? I hasten to add that it is an enormous challenge, but those were the early days when I thought the genius might have it nailed in his promising. May I live to see the day. His next proclamation on FULL SELF DRIVING is end of second quarter next year. Let’s hope the last years events in super-charging have not elongated MB’s ability to have the same access as other manufacturers.

So, as you can…. Really only need certification of the connector or so I interpret. And of course, we will need to buy. Which begs the question? Will the Electron adapter work? As an alternative?
Dear Mr.,
Thank you for contacting the Customer Assistance Center. It is our pleasure to proviade assistance with your charging concerns.
You will need to have a special NACS to CCS-1 adapter in order to utilize the stations. We are in the process of procuring and certifying the adapter so it can be available to customers. It can be purchased through the MB dealer network once available. MBUSA will send email communication to all EQ drivers when the adapter is available to purchase and when the Tesla network is fully integrated. Any questions or concerns related to charging your Mercedes-Benz vehicles at a Tesla Supercharger, please contact Tesla’s customer service at 1-888-518-3752.
Please Note: Tesla Supercharger network has not been integrated into Mercedes me Charge, and Tesla Superchargers will not be included in our Navigation with Electric Intelligence.
As a result, Mercedes-Benz vehicles will not be able to use Tesla’s network when planning charging stops and customers will have to pay for their charging session through the Tesla app at this time.
Should you need to contact us via email in the future, please visit the www.MBUSA.com Contact Us page.
