Hey All,
i am looking to buy used /2023 eqs suv and this vehicle had the BMS software recall which was already taken care of.
the vehicle is still under manufacture warranty.
is there any reason to not move forward with this purchase? I mean this recall is just any other recall, nothing major or concerning. Correct?

Hey All,

Recommend you ask for VIN-related service records to ensure car hasn’t been into shop multiple times over shorter period of time for “electrical issues”. That type of history could imply buyback since title isn’t branded with their rebuy process. Otherwise, software updates are perfectly normal and preferred on these computers on wheels. I say this from experience with a certified 2023 EQS with 5K miles that I promptly returned when the motor needed replacement. Then bought a brand new untitled one off the showroom floor. Trouble free thus far. The former car was clearly a lemon, and I failed to check history beforehand, trusting the certified status. 🍋

Appreciate the response. I have done my due diligence to check the Carfax and other stuff. Its clean, no accident, not lemon.
