Charge port stuck
My charge port couldn't open and was replaced last year.
Lately, it's been erratic, requiring several pushes to open.
Has anyone encountered this?
If this happens on a trip, what can I do? Pry it open with a screwdriver?

I've not heard of this happening. I would check the manual to see if there's a secondary release, but I doubt it. Other than that, just returning to the dealer is all I cold think to do.

This is a very common problem on different MB models (including plug-in hybrids) here in Europe, specifically during the winter if the car is often charged under an open sky. Odd that the fuel tank flap works well. Perhaps because it is not open for a long time outside.
Some owners change the solenoid almost every year. Some get frustrated and remove the solenoid, replace it with a bit of velcro tape.

To manually release the locking latch of the charge port: remove a small, insulated panel inside the rear trunk - on the right side - and pull a small cable found behind the opening. Hope this works for you.

My EQS SUV port flap was frozen shut recently. I tucked a length of dental floss around the non-hinge edge of the cover using a ball point pen cap. I had my wife press the dashboard "open" button while I tugged the flap open.

Slide in a credit card on the left side of the port. pull away from the port (so it pushes to the middle). push the lid to activate the mechanisms. works very fine. need to do it all the time during winter. Actually crazy.
