Got my adapter.I dont have mercedes me as found no need for it due to home charging.
Do i have have mercedes me[pay for membership] to use Tesla adapters?.Have signed with Tesla for out of Home Range use only.

Mercedes app will allow you to tell your vehicle you have an adapter by flipping a sw switch. You can use the Tesla app to initiate your charge without using Mercedes Me. I have level 2 charging at home but I use the Mercedes app alot with profiles for my wife and I, and also to navigate to chargers planning routes and sending it to the car. It even knows about the tesla chargers now after flipping the switch in the app.

Mercedes Me app does not quite work for me with Tesla charging stations (tried a few times, not yet got it to work as yet). I used Tesla App when charging at Supercharger.
