These are two separate things. I can comment on the streaming...
YouTube used to be part of the Digital Extra known as the Entertainment Package.
About 5 months ago, MB split off the streaming (YouTube) from the Entertainment Package and created a new Streaming package, for which one has to pay extra. During this process, I understand they added RideVu...but it depends on the market. Here in Sweden we don't have RideVu yet. Only YouTube. After the 1 month free trial period, I decided not to pay ~€7/month for YouTube as I really don't need it in the car. In the rare case that I might need it, I can open YouTube in the car's native browser and stream from there.
