Software Update - never meets conditions
Any get past this?

After a few exchanges with MB USA, they eventually asked me to bring the car back to the dealership for the update. Before doing so, I did some research and found that many people had similar problems caused by a less-than-optimal 12-volt battery which was surprising since mine had just been replaced. I mentioned this to the service advisor. Before performing the update, they checked the battery; it tested fine, but there was a stored battery code that hadn’t been cleared during the replacement. So that might still have been the 12 V battery in my case.
Hope this helps

I followed the instructions to accept it and it installed immediately. I learned from this that you don't need to be in your home country (at least within the EU) to receive and successfully install OTA updates like this.
I have not noticed any difference in the behavior of the car or seat belts since this was installed -- with one exception -- my 12v battery status has never showed "fully charged" since this date. Only "partially charged".
There could be a number of reasons for this change in behavior not related to this software update...but I wonder...
I'm having the dealer check my 12v battery next week.Quick Reply
I started playing around and when I hit the setting button on the software update tab, I realized my car was connected to my phone Hotspot which is usually off. I connected it to my home wifi and also setup to update automatically. After 1 day I got this installation failed message when I went back to the software update tab.
Then the software update disappeared from my list. I went to the app to see what happened, because there is an update history in the app, and I saw this.
Now I had taken it to the dealer while this update was pending due to disconnection problem with my android phone, and they updated software, but this update was still showing pending after I got the car back. But maybe they did some update that made this update no longer required??? No idea what is going on.
Going to try to connect my EQE also to my home wifi and see what happens with this update which is pending there also.
