Light Setting in MB App

Just got off the phone with MBUSA and was told that some vehicles have had that feature "sunsetted" and there will be a reactivation sometime at the end of November or first part of December. I have a picture of my family on the passenger screen and wanted to change the photo but can't since the option is missing from the MB app.
I have a strong feeling they are not 'supporting' the EQ line with any more new updates, especially since they're supposedly killing off the "EQ" line.

I’m stupid about this digital lighting. I set it up to show Pixel Impact. What exactly does this do? Where is it suppose to show up? Im totally confused. Thanks for your understanding on this subject.
