No way, the 2030 consumer market items are already in the design faze. Cars...for sure. There may be some outlier small consumer items that could change, cell phones or devices needing higher power for longer times (trail cams?). In cars, to be tested in the multi-environment that is needed (Juno to Miami and beyond). No way....not by '30.

Before I replied (with a typical response) I decided to think on it (as this is not the off - topic forum). My answer remains as "good" - on both accounts. It is a GREAT thing that our US law enformcent are protecting citizens by enforcing immigration laws and deporting anyone in our nation illegally. No matter the profession - frankly, I wish there was 1000x MORE enforcement in the healthcare world with so many "MD/DO" in our country wtih questionalble educations, residencies and qualifications.

As for the people who then refused to train US workers? GOOD!!! They NEED and deserve national pride in Korea! They should say "screw you, we make these batteries at home and you can buy them from us!" . To me, this is part of our and Koreas national defence and intelectual propertiy rights. Just as folks I work wtih are frequently asked to train others (around the world) on this procedure or that....(often the answer is no). We need our secrets and trade secrets to be ours, Korea absolutely has that right as well.
I am not going to let you off the hook. We are not talking about illegal immigrants here, but people who were in the country legally with valid visas. They were arrested and detained in violation of the rights they had as persons legally in the United States. Arresting people and detaining them without cause is the problem which you are ignoring in your postings. Keep in mind that the majority of persons arrested by DHS are present legally under a variety of programs - some even have valid green cards. So claims of arresting criminals are simply false. They are being arrested and deported without any due process when most could show there is no cause to arrest or deport them.

@ehildum I was trying to be nice. I am a fan of a 50%+ tax an foreign national who is in the US working. None should be allowed to work as a 1099 or have stipend (un-taxed) pay for housing or per-Diem costs. They should be required to leave their money in a US bank that has limited access to offshore transfers and even tighter than $9,999.99 daily limits with out notifying Treasury. They are NOT US citizens and thus should not be afforded the same Constitutional protections as US citizens. As for a contention that a "majority" of people being detained by ICE being in the country legally, bull****.

We also could in theory need to define "detained". If I get pulled over for speeding I am "detained". They figure out what they need to figure out and then I drive down the road (or get put in cuffs and into a cop car). In both instances I am "detained". But, as for those found to be illegal? They do not deserve any "due process" - they are forieign invaders and should be removed ASAP (preferably in the back of a C130 chained to the walls).

I have traveled the world extensively. I am always very cautious to know what the laws are in what ever nation I am going into. For instance Freedom of Speech is something that only US citizens currently enjoy (much to the dislike of idiots like SOJ Brown). I can not go to most any other nation on the planet and just get a job. I can not just move in. I certainly can not do it in Canada or South Korea - there is no reason they should be able to do it here.

Oh, fun note. A Jordanian born Canadian Citizen in the US on an H1B is being accused to stealing over $50m from Medicare (currently). He was supposed to meet with his lawyers and the DOJ on this past Monday. Guess who did not show up to them meeting and who is probably sitting in Jordan right now....come on, guess....

Sounds like the senior Israeli official who was summoned to court in Nevada for child sex crimes.

Oh and the whole illegal immigrants aren't entitled to due process thing. Thank you for the reminder as to value of the constitution.

The two are not related. They are a group of foreign invaders who enter our nation illegally KNOWINGLY. They deserve to be treated as any other criminal is. Incarcerated and in their situation removed from our sovereign nation - just as say...Randy Quaid was from Canada. Now, one possible solution (other than rounding them up and deporting them) is land mines and the borders and maybe making some examples out of a few of them. That worked (the example scenario) certainly worked well for the cartels who moved drugs and illegals into our nation, until recently with out any resistance from our law enforcement. if I were only king.....wait, are the folks who make land mines union labor? If so we would need to move that production to a "right to work state"....but, alas - this is all fodder for the "off topic" forums.

Have him drawn and quartered...then deport him. I got to wonder if they are going to play some "Diplomatic Immunity card" (that is fake) like we see in the movies.
