2027 EQS Facelift
Just realized that there is nothing posted here about the 2027 EQS facelift. While the EQE models get the axe, the EQS is modernized to the latest standards.

First off, steer by wire:

Also the update to the latest MB.OS, replacing all modules with 4 processors and the latest AI features. The whole EV tech ist being replaced and renewed with the EVA2M plattform, starting with the move to 800V with charging at 320KW, new battery and motors with higher efficiency and longer range (900km WLPT)
and a 2 speed transmission similar to the CLA, GLC EV.

Power will increase and a new heat pump for improved range during winter.

Plus you will see the usual front/rear end facelift updates with MB's new star signature digital headlights/tail lights with star patterns.

Will this upgrade use CCS or NACS charging? And will it include the EQS SUV as well as the EQS sedan?

Some great upgrades!

I expect it'll have NACS in the "exceptional" USA, and CCS in the ROW.

Yes. Both the EQS SUV and Sedan get updated. Both EQE's are discontinued as there will be a new E-Class EV coming out, along with a new C-Class EV.

Mercedes will be able to connect to both NACS and CCS1 level 3 chargers. The Flex Charging Cable can connect to both level 1 and level 2 outlets.

So the EQS is not being cancelled? I thought the entire EQ line is getting canned?
I would get another EQS SUV in 2 years when my lease is up on my 450 SUV, if it continues to have the 3rd row seating option.
