Great thread, Gary. One of my favorite things about Europe is eating my way through it! Although I can't name a restaurant, I can tell you I love the variety of foods from the different regions. Whether it's Matjes in Hamburg, Currywurst in Berlin, Dortmund, or Osnabrueck, Pizza from anywhere, Schnitzel, wild game in Tuscany, seafood along the Mediterranean, the snails in France... You name it, I love it.

My youngest was 11 during ED, when she saw this first time - she start crying - waitress didn't understand why she cry - we have to explain - she LOVES all animals.

She is on her 3rd year in veterinary school now.
How time flies. Our daughter was with us on our first ED. She was in middle school at the time and we were gone for a month. All her teachers and her principal were Ok with her absence, giving her a little work to do while she was gone. They understood that she would learn far more traveling through Europe than she would in the classroom. Now she works full time for the news department of a TV station, and is finishing her last semester of college. You must be very proud of your daughter, like I am of mine!
German food is so good! I couldn't stop when I was there...
