I first saw this rumor a few weeks back, but MB and BMW still actively promote ED on their US web sites. So until I see an official announcement I will assume it is a bad joke.

My dealer thinks its "fake news". I pressed him hard on these rumors...

Representative from Audi ED confirm to me that this is fake news. Did not contact yet BMW or MBZ.
