Non USA OEM accessories added while in EU
I have ordered a 2020 GLC for European pick up.. While I am in Germany I would like to add a few OEM accessories that are not available here and or are much cheaper in Germany. Stainless rear bumper protector, chrome strip on rear hatch and the chrome accents on front air dam. I will also get rubber floor mats (1/2) price as here but I will pack these in my suitcase.
Does anyone see any customs issues with these stick-on bolt on accessories ?
Thanks in advance

While I was told not to leave anything in the car I still took my chances with some small things and everything was exactly as I left it. The process is as if you are importing your own car, so IF anything that you installed is prohibited customs will contact you.

2020 GLC300 (ED re-delivery pending)
But always a risk. Is it not feasible to put these in your luggage as well?

thanks for the feedback. I will pack the front air dam chrome accents they are small. Rubber winter mats also. I will have to see just how long and well packed the rear bumper protector is and the chrome hatch accent. If I can carry on the plane and put overhead I will. If not I will put these on. I agree the are not likely to be noticed if installed.
