Well guys I had a great time seeing all those AMG's that turned up despite the awful weather! MBUSA was a great host and thanks to Pete and Rob who organized the day! Let's make it even bigger next year!

hey CT, I didnt see your car there! You should have asked Rob to let you drive that red C230 V6 with the 6 speed next to the SL 65. I was quite surprised with it. (I asked to drive the SL too, figured it was worth a shot!)

Thanks for the compliments. I usually take more pics, but my camera was getting soaked in the rain. The people at the meet were classy, I've been to quite a few different meets in past years and this one was special in that it had interaction with people who could bring changes from feedback of die-hard enthusiasts.

That was one hellish ride back home. Fairly heavy traffic on the Parkway, coupled with a monsoon. I hate the Parkway. 8 foot wide lanes, terrible drivers, toll booths from hell, SUV drivers thinking they are on the Autobahn, oy!!

Had alot of fun at the event. I have no idea who is what screen name but I was driving the CLK430 on 19's. I'm sure we will get an even better turnout next time (as long as its not raining again). Alot of people canceled from the MD group. Only the hardcore people came through. Is MB gonna cover the hospital bills for the 5 heart attacks I had driving up and back? Every time I hit a puddle or patch of water my car would pull HARD and I thought I was gonna go straight into a wall. I will accept a CLK DTM as payment. I know this might not be the place to mention this but I think the Porsche 997 with color matched wheels was HOTTTT!!!!!!! I didnt like it at first but it grew on me during the drive up. Did anyone get the contact info for that detail stuff they used under the canopy? That stuff works GREAT!

oh, and frigg'n potholes going back to NYC ... badly bent the rear rims now too. 
Winter can't get here fast enough so I can take them off and send them to Kinesis and get all new inner and outer drums on all four rims.
...Hey all. Remember that Silver C43 with the Kinesis rims? I'm thinking about changing the center's finish while it's there in Kinesis's hands (depending on cost). Any ideas about color? Perhaps hi-gloss Anthricite?
Also, I should have my pics up soon too. And Ya, I think name + handle tags, or actually hanging badges, would have been great.

no he took out his chamois to dry his car off before he did the video interview and then someone else borrowed it, then someone else borrowed it, and again and again and then someone pocketed it...
