Saw it Saturday afternoon when at the dealer...Also saw it at Crystal Cove with dealer plates and the MBLN floor mats...They said its NOT for sale...
Mark,
How did he even get that? Or he brought it in outside the country? Must've been really expensive to bring that here and do all the paper works. Nonetheless amazing car. Would've loved to hear the sound.

I was at Crystal Cove and I spent some time talking to the woman that owns the dealership and car.
She said that it was indeed very difficult to get it into the states. They can only use it 2,500 miles a year and only for prades and shows.
Very funny thing happened while I was talking to her. This chain smoking kid came up to here and said "does you husband own the dealership" and she said "no I do!"
The pictures don't even do it justice - it was amazing and attracted more attention than the usual Carrera Gt's. Especially the interior - It was like a mercedes race car. hmmmm

you are right, it's called a "Show or Display" car and it allows for up to 2500 miles of use per year. You can find out just about everything you would want to know about the program here:Originally Posted by dcfsf
