Mark,
How did he even get that? Or he brought it in outside the country? Must've been really expensive to bring that here and do all the paper works. Nonetheless amazing car. Would've loved to hear the sound.

I was at Crystal Cove and I spent some time talking to the woman that owns the dealership and car.
She said that it was indeed very difficult to get it into the states. They can only use it 2,500 miles a year and only for prades and shows.
Very funny thing happened while I was talking to her. This chain smoking kid came up to here and said "does you husband own the dealership" and she said "no I do!"
The pictures don't even do it justice - it was amazing and attracted more attention than the usual Carrera Gt's. Especially the interior - It was like a mercedes race car. hmmmm

clkdtms are def. hot and im sure haul assss like no other... but there is just something i dont like about the dtm fender kit they put on there.. i dont think it matches the aerodynamic lines of the clk... i dont know.. just my opinion.. maybe i gotta see one in person but for some reason the kit just doesnt make that much sense..
