I don't know it is worth it.

The C6 Z06 had the potential to be the fastest car yesterday with trap speeds over 125. That car is very hard to launch

$100,000 to rent out Lime Rock?!?!?!?!?!?!? Thats rediculous! Well I'll get on the phone and send some e-mails on moday. I know the Evo's in our area rent out Summit Point sometimes so I'm pretty sure it cant be THAT expensive. If it is, we can just tag along with them. I really like how the "benz family" keeps getting bigger every time we have an event. Thanks for coming out guys. I think I will be showing my car next season for EuroWerkz. I want to finish up a couple secret projects before nezt season. One of the mods includes the letters HRE!

Thanks Spero and Ahmad for putting together a great time. I need to put some more mods in my car before I run it again (or just a 4 second headstart against the SL 65). We definitely need to organize something in the future. Maybe something like highrollersrun.com used to do, a drive and an event.

Seems like Summit Point doesnt respond to e-mails. I'm going to talk to som eof my Evo friends and see how they go about renting it out. There are 3 circuits at Summit, any preferance over which one we should rent (if we can)? I would say the Shenenndoah circuit. Keep your fingers crossed.
Bookie- Take my advice, our cars were not meant to be fast without SERIOUS $$$$$$$. You want to go fast? Sell your car and get a 55! Then talk to kleemann. Even then I dont think we would be able to hang with the modded E55's or the 600 or the SL65. Trust me, dumping money into these cars is a waste of money (unless its for show).
And where are all the pics and video? I've only seen BJ's pics!

No word yet on Summit. Talked to MIR and this is the price breakdown for renting the dragstrip next year- 2 people $500 8 people $800 and up to 16 people $1200. If you've never been to MIR aka Budds Creek, I believe its a better prepped track. Remember the mustang "hurricane" that ran a 8.5? It was at MIR last week and ran a 7.4! The last test and tune for MIR will be this sunday (and then the track will be closed til next season). I am going and I might go up to capitol on friday night. Anybody want to join me? I wont be tracking my car (its in winter mode anyway) but its alot of fun to watch. It goes without saying that if it rains I'm not going to either.

Update on summit from a BMWCCA organizer-
To give you an idea, the Jefferson costs us something like $4000/day. The main track is probably closer to $6000/day. Please don't quote me on these since I don't know if that included a deposit or corner workers.
In the National Capital Chapter's case, we provide our own insurance.
Corner workers are an extra $150/per person.
With our rental a paramedic is included.
We supply our own instructors.
Best thing to do is call BSR and speak with Maria at 304.425.6512.
I have heard of groups renting the track for private events.
I have no idea what their rules are.
If you are looking to do a driving school maybe they can supply instructors like a FATT.
If you have any further questions please use email.
Bookie- I will be there around 7pm. If its too cold I wont even go. I believe they run til about 11pm.
