As for time, I will need some input from you guys. I think the morning would be better and that way the cars can get a "rest" at the meet. However, there are two issues...one being the chance of fog early in the morning and two - will it be too early for those driving out here? say if we start at 8am?

So either start between 7:30-8am and end at the meet around 9ish OR start the run after the meet (say around 11am), but take the chance on traffic.

Please check my other thread "EuroSunday" for info on the meet.

I hope I have enough brakes to last this run since I'm already low.

i used to wake up at 5 to go driving when i had my m3
the earlier the better, traffic and cops
as for fog.... we all got fog lights :p

Its not a good idea to do any canyon running on Mulholland drive anymore. CHP has really started to crack down up there.

The drive will begin at 8am at Village Coffee Roaster in Calabasas. We will end at the same location in time for the Euro meet in order for the cars to get a break. Please confirm so that we know how many people to expect.

btw - if I remember correctly, this Saturday/Sunday we all get an extra hour of sleep from turning the clocks back, so it won't be that early.

Mulholland is just to get you to the real canyons...yes there was a supposed Operation Safe Canyon but that ahs really died down. I have done the run i posted 3 times recently and have not seen i popo...

anyways, with a group of cars, these tend to be sprited cruising rather than high paced runs so not too worried about leo...
