Northern California Mercedes Benz SLK & SLR enthusiasts are invited to meet at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 19th in Los Gatos, in front of the Peet's Coffee shop located in the shopping center at the Southeast corner of Blossom Hill Road and Los Gatos Blvd for display of their cars and camaraderie. No reservations are needed. We will leave at 11:30 and drive through Los Gatos, Saratoga and up to Skyline to Sky Londa, then on to San Gregorio, proceeding north past Half Moon Bay to Pillar Point Harbor for lunch at the Half Moon Bay Brewing Co.

There is no cost. Join us for an enjoyable day.

After-drive gokart racing event.
Hey guys, I thought maybe we could merge both of these together at some point during your ride. Would you guys be interested in continuing the drive after lunch to burlingame?

I'll give you guys a call soon and maybe we can schedule something together, because that saturday won't be over any time soon . I would love it (and so would the other spectators) if you guys could join my free car show as well!

I'm afraid our drives are only for SLK's (r170 & r171) and SLR's, although we have yet to have an SLR show. Anyone can come by to see us, but we limit the group to those models...

I'll ask my friend if he'll let me "borrow" his SLR. I can hear him now "Sure Greg, when pigs fly from my butt you can borrow my SLR"!

Good luck guys. It sounds like a great ride even if you don't get a SLR to show up. I hope the weather is nice and CalTrans keeps the mud/rock slides clear on Highway 1.

I'll try & make it. My ECU is being tuned (adding more fuel) at Kleemann & then its going on the dyno on Friday. If I get the car back on Friday night (or Sat morning), we'll see ya there. Even if I dodn't get the car back, I'll swing by Los Gatos to take a look at other people's SLKs & meet them before heading back home.

I might be up for that if I make the meet, I figure I will be driving 800 miles in about a 30 hour timespan, I am sure a little go-karting will work just fine. Wolf
