It was nice speaking to you on the phone....The LSD doors ? Hmmm....physically it looks good but I am a little tired to lift the door up each time when I get in or out..
Installation was ratther tedious no doubt the mechanism was a direct fit and designed for my vehicle. In terms of reliability, I am very much comfortable since it is from the germans who made them. They are very tough in nature IMO.Jaws dropped ? well I can hear from passers by each time when the door is up is "wah liao"....
Anyway, hope to catch up with all of you this coming weekend....cheers !

to helio - yup its a 996 C4 cab w/ tip S. Wish I had a nicer kit though. The kit for the C is a Wald replica with some other bits. Not the best quality in the world but what the heck ...its only a kit and this is not a car to go 170mph...thats for the P car

Sorry that I couldn't make it to the meetup this time. Sounds like it was a good meetup.
Maybe, next time, we can meetup at the same time when BMW.SG have their monthly meetup (which is from 4.30 pm onwards on the last Sunday of each month)? As it is later in the afternoon, the weather is usually more comfortable.

guys,
i am getting my taiwan friend to buy a set (4 pieces) of W211 LED lighted scuff plate from an OEM supplier. 1 set cost S$180 (conversion from NT dollars) with either AMG or mercedes logo.

Hey guys. Just wanted to ***** about something...
I was very happy to know yesterday that my brabus add on lip kit will be arriving on thurs with an expected install date early next week. But something stupid had to happen.
When i was stationary (for quite a while) at a traffic light, i felt a slight knock from the back! Some stupid ang mo woman driver (been in singapore for only 2 yrs) driving a rented mazda 5 kissed my bumper. I have no idea what she was doing! It was really a soft knock. But coz cheapo mercedes made my bumper out of plastic, cracks developed. What a useless bumper. Her car appeared to be undamaged.
Anyway, now ive got to wait for a freaking long time for the insurance process before i can get a new bumper. So after waiting a long time for the kit, i now have to wait even longer to install the rear lip coz i'll only install it when the new bumper arrives. Such a big turn off!
Cant believe ang mo woman drivers are allowed to drive here! Esp those driving mpvs! I have many friends who have been hit by the 'curse of the blur sotong ang mo woman driver'! And they always seem to drive mpvs! And its always some stupid avoidable accident. What's up man!
Anyway, i'll just install the front lip and side skirts 1st coz i cant wait already. haha. Will take some pics.

i have a BRAND NEW complete set (extra set) of the AMG LED door sill for W211 @ S$200/- in FACTORY SEALED PACKAGING. the set is OEM in taiwan. "AMG" logo type is more expensive than the usual Mercedes logo.
very low price as our popular Merc retailer has quoted me S$360 for the same set (same OEM as well).
1 set only to let go. interested, pls call allen 96678989 (i am also a W211 owner)

I have a W211 E240 with a Audio 20 system. I have already added a 5.1 JL Amp and a JL 7 inch sub with Dyna Audio GT 240 for the front and Canto for the back. I searched in vain and even Daimler Chrysler Singapore tells me that there is no ipod intergration available for the Audio 20. Is there one available locally. Any idea where I can do it. Would LOVE to put this thing in.
