June 17, 2006 Northern California SLK & SLR Meet and Drive
Mercedes Benz SLK & SLR roadster owners are invited to meet rain or shine at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 17th in the parking lot in front of Starbucks at the Vintage Oaks Center, 132 Vintage Way, Novato for display of their cars and camaraderie (meet and greet, show and shine). We will leave at 11:30 A.M. for a backroads drive which will take us around Sonoma Mountain through Bennet Valley, Sonoma Valley, the Carneros to Sonoma Town. Along the way we'll pass by pastures, vineyards, oak studded hills, country estates, wineries, quaint villages, happy cows and even a mental institution. There will be places where you can glimpse what Sonoma looked like before it became a place for the wealthy to find a simpler way of life.
Come for the meet, the drive, any part, or all of the day. No reservations are needed. There is no cost except your optional lunch. Join us for an enjoyable day.

With at least a dozen cars confirmed already, we have added an additional post lunch drive around the vineyards...Pic Attached...
