Hi guys. sorry been busy with my other hobby.

i dont know if i can make it but here is the run down on what i learned after helping plan last years event.

IRVINE PD was pissed because we were "controlling access" to the parking lot. they did want us to have a permit because of the large sized group. my friend that attended name dropped and the cops left us alone after that. i would call IPD just to see if at what point to you need a permit to gather.

i read that someone called paco that is great. last year he didnt have
tj's staffed correctly and it took forever for some people to get service and the staff was exhausted. oh and that was during he big sc nd game. when is the superbowl? same weekend?

i cant get pala casino to donate this year because my contact now is in NO working with the casinos there.

make lots of room for the c-class owners. they overwhelmed the event last year coming out in full force. we used the back row by the freeway to park all of them.

we used the front of the restaurant parking to showcase a few nice cars. i believe evosport got a few spots as well as jam and my buddy who had the slk b55. my buddy has since sold that car but i am sure if you ask chris k real nice he will bring the smart he has and i am sure mark and dan will chip in with smarts.

at the time we ran that last event the unimog group was running a big meet elsewhere so they didnt join us. they were super cool when we met them in escondido. carlos i sure has the contact info for them but i bet he is still in gitmo.

we had 120+ cars show up so keep in mind that is a TON of people. also keep in mind with that many people IPD would sit at the unocal gas station and give out tickets for burning rubber and such.

above all keep the dream alive....
