Don't be too intimidated.... I'm new to this car and you could count w/ 1 hand for the number of times I went to a track... so we'll see.... my car may be stronger... but you may be a stronger driver.

Plus, it will only be a pulley upgrade.... per advice from mod freaks here, I should be OK w/o ECU remap... at least for now until my torque addict surges up again.

The only problem i may have, i'll tell you right now...and thats hitting 3rd gear perfect.. i can do it so well at the track but when im at the street drag racing i cant.. i dont know why ...but for sure its going to be an awesome race

I have tons of pics but have not had a chance to reduce them in size.

Some of my favorite places included a side trip from London to Greenwich, where I stood on the Prime Meridian, Westminster Abbey, the London Eye, the Tower of London and the National Gallery museum in London. In Paris - the Eiffel tower, the Palace of Versailles, the Orsay, Rodin and Louvre museums, a boat cruise down the river Seine, and Galleries Lafayette were pretty much the highlights.

Oh, here is my fav photo that I took at the Eiffel tower.. there's just not enough chicks on this forum to appreciate it, but, heheh, oh well

(they were guarding the tower)

OK, here is a pic of the tower

The gardens at the Palace of Versailles

A cool pic of the Louvre (it was raining that evening):

Venezzia: Looks like the guards are posing for you. Did you visit Printemps? I like them more than Lafayette. Champs-Élysées?

Egxpimp: It's been a while hasn't it! Too bad the Porsche isn't fast enough to speed up time.

No, no more looking through telescopes and smashing atoms anymore for me. Thank goodness.

Yea, you can keep your tequila. It just means that someone (ahem) will have to drive you home in your Porsche.

Hey P - Yeah, I got them to pose a bit, although they couldn't look into the camera. They were afraid their chief might see and they would get into trouble! I did go to Printemps first and they were too pricey; Galleries Lafayette was more reasonable. However, I did buy an awesome pair of swarovski crystal earrings at Printemps. Champs-Elysees? I was 2 blocks away from that street but only went there a couple of times.

Oh, I forgot to add, they have a Mercedes-Benz showroom on Champs-Élysées. It's on the side closer to the Arc De Triomph.

I haven't been to Paris for over a year, how would you say the pricing is right now for similar goods compared to the US with the tourist tax discount and the exchange rate right now?

Aw, wish I knew, I could have dropped by the showroom. Oh well...

The pricing is terrible. At the exchange rate of $1.42 for 1 Euro, unless you're getting a huge discount, then it's not worth it to buy anything over there. The tourist tax discount is only 12%. Even if something is 25% off, you're still paying too much. I didn't buy much over there, only a few things that I found that I have never seen here. Besides, I only had one bag, so I couldn't really fit a whole lot of stuff in there to bring back.

***BBQ POSTPWNED!***

Alright seems like the turnout will be low since most are either out of town this month or will be. So I plan to reschedule the date to somewhere in July after the 4th Holiday. I will post a new poll once I get the dates down. Once again I apologize for the late notice.

most of the guys dont like to come up here. And since 95% of the people at this meet are down in SJ area, it also makes more sense to have it down there.

Right, and if I drove all the way to Davis, the front end would probably get a few bugs and would no longer be ideal for said photo shoot.

Man where have all you guys been. Or I should say where have I been. A group in my own backyard. Keep me up to date as to the picnic and other goings on.

Cheers,
