Pimp, sure.... the car is a bit disabled now. I need to replace the front tires.... got pretty deep cut on the front pass. tire's wall due to debris on 880... been looking for SL65 wheels.... we'll see

 

I think we need a definite headcount before we can start assigning responsibilities..

If experience has taught us anything, less than half the people show up after saying they would, and we might end up with 40 hot dogs and no buns or something like that..

Let's first decide a date, time and place, then we can say who's definitely in and who can bring what..

Venezzia: Had a nice trip? I just got back from two weeks in Asia myself. Lovely.

Zoink & Egxpimp: I can't imagine what a drag race between a 911 and an AMG would turn out. On the track, my money's on the 911, but in a drag race, that's going to be a tough one. Glad we have the 911 back, although it's not a Mercedes, it's a special member of our Mercedes family.

 

So what's the date?

Haven't got confirmation yet.... but my car may go through a little pulley upgrade and fresh tires this coming Saturday. Then the following Saturday, it may go to FJ for IC pump replacement (just want to get the newer one under warranty ).

Then after that, if I could get a slot, the car may be at Premier for clear bra...

So chances are the car is not ready for this coming meet.... but if there's a meet some time in July and pimp could get a little strip w/o any risk of speeding / reckless ticket, you guys may have some little entertainment

The car will get fresh tires this Wednesday Goodyear F1 GS-D3....

She will get pulley upgrade this Saturday / Tuesday next week. Pending Adam's confirmation. Adam expected to see 40whp/wtq bump.... if she's healthy, I'd expect to get mid to high 400's whp and probably over 500wtq. We'll see... pre/post dyno's will be provided.

I don't mind triple digit but no twisties yet.... still need to get used to it.

From a dig, hopefully the fresh tires will help her hook up better.... from a roll, given your mods, I expect to be a driver's race (what are you putting down, BTW?). I think it would either I walk or get walked slowly... So yes, my last excuse wouldn't be the car.... it would be me (assuming she's healthy and doesn't get heat soaked or fail IC pump).

BTW, if I could hear your car from a mile away, it more sounds like a ricer...
