That's interesting. last time, my temp sensor fall off into the engine bay. The car told me that it was 145F outside. After about 20 mins, the check engine light went on.
Well, so we actually didn't see the wire for the fog light that day then?

Man Shawn, your not catching a break. That seems an odd place for a temp sensor. Honestly though, I wouldn't know where a good place would be. That seems a reasonable price for the front end, still a shame about the crap on the highway doing the damage to your car and putting you in the spot your in. Keep us updated on how your making out. Maybe if you were in the BMW the superior handling would have given you a chance in avoiding the crap hitting your car.........ooooohhhh I'm gonna pay for that one. I'm only kidding everyone, I thought it was funny but I am sorry about your car Shawn. It was a great day, beautiful scenery and a fun drive. Your car sounds sweet too. If we go again, I hope you will be able to join us.Greg.

and i doubt the BMW would have even survived that trip in 1 piece considering its suspension is SHOT with 165k miles on it.

thanks Greg. now that I think about it the temp sensor is in the same place on my BMW, in front of the right wheel. if you open the hood and look you can see a wire attached to a half dollar sized chunk of plastic that pokes through the underbody.

That's my situation as well. My suspension shows it's age when we start hitting the twisties(96' suspension). Next year should be much different, all new suspension to stiffen everything up and keep it glued to the road. I gotta see if that's where my temp sensor is, never even thought of it before. How are you making out with your front end? Hopefully there will be one more meet or trip this year. Last trip was awesome, too bad the summer is over
yea i finally got my pics uploaded!

Hey Shawn, nice pics. I saw how you defended Pete on another post. That guy Tommy didn't make much sense. I was going to leave my own reply but it doesn't even seem worth it. There always seems to be at least one knuckle head where ever you go.
