We typically have 10-20 participants so it is by no means crowded and you get A LOT of track time with no traffic or trains to have to deal with on the track.

wow, they let you have the track all day for only 10-20 people?
I think I want to do this, but am worried my 325i (auto) and my inexperienced self might be laughed away. An instructor really wouldn't mind spending a bunch of time with me?

Out Of Control!!
Kwik,
None of us started out as expert drivers, even the instructors always benefit from additional instructing. This will be my second lesson, so I can relate to your concerns. The instructors at this school enjoy instructing, no matter what car you have. Sure they would prefer to instruct people with extremely rare, exotic cars, but who wouldn't? They will show you things in your car that you never thought it could do. If you go there with a positive attitude, and the willingness to learn, I guarantee that you will leave the day feeling much more confident about your driving skills.

Sounds like fun, just a few more questions before I register...
1. Which set of wheels/tires would be best?
- OEM 17" wheels w/ ContiSport Contact (225/44 all around)
- OEM 18" wheels w/ BridgeStone S-03 (225 F, 255 R)
2. How much brake pad will I need? I have ~60% remaining.
3. Do I register with MotorSports Club or Evosport?
4. Do you have a list of "things to bring"?
5. Any other words of wisdom?
thanks for your patience.

2. That's fine. If this is your first time on the track, don't expect to be pushing the car to the limit. Besides, this particular track is not that hard on brakes.
3. Either is fine, but we need you to confirm you are coming.
4. Once you register, shoot me an email (simon@evosport.com) and I will let you know more details. All you need is comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, pants. If you have a helmet, great. If not, we can provide one. Bring a light jacket in case its cold in the AM. All the drinks and food you need will be provided. Also bring some sunscreen.
5. Yes....have fun!!!

Kwik,
I completely forgot that a MBWorlder was coming. You should have said hi! Remember the date of the 14th. Next time you are there, you can get pictures of your car from the gift shop. It's $20 per picture (printed or on CD), or if you have a bunch of pictures, $100 for a CD.
Did you see Brad pass the Modena in my car? Hehehe, that was fun.
So what did you think about the lesson? Would you come again?
