Since I'm not local, can you give me an idea of where in the central Jersey coast? That way I can check on hotel accomadations, rental car....blah-blah...
Will the weather be warm? Only reason I would go is to get Chucky drunk.
Fish in the pics appear to be Stripper and Fluke/Flounder?

I don't think I have ever been to the Central Jersey Coast. However, according to the boat site Rick provided, I googled hotels in the vicinity of Highlands, NJ.

It is not Sayreville folks. The boat is docked at the Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina. I will send out directions later.
Ed, you can stay with MG. He lives near there. Atlantic Highlands is a town just north of the Sandy Hook 'hook' on the central coastline.

Well I'm down for the fourth, and yes I'm bringing my dad. This is sort of his father's day present. I might try to bring one of my uncles too. When would we need the final head count by?

So rough count is fine, but it is important that people are absolutely sure that they will show up.
To re-iterate: the cost covers Boat, bait, rod, lure, and tip for the mate. The mate will help you fix issues with the rod/reel, serve up the bait, help you bring fish onboard (sometimes they are quite large and need 4 arms), and also to fillet the fish into baggies on the way back in.
Food and drink is up to you. The only rule - no glass bottles, so you need to drink from cups or cans. Chevas in a cup will still give you a good buzz, if you're so inclined.

I think we have a good idea of the count. Basically I have to send the Capt a $300 deposit now, and then we pay on arrival, based on the total that show up divided into a grand.

Rick, what West Virginian wrote that? ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Just so you know - I'm blowing off the NYC 5 Boros bike ride for this; I'd better catch something. I'll bring the rest of whatever I have left (forget if it's blue or green label), then we'll of course make fun of Chucky for being so common as to suffer with black label.

His name is Capt Dave (lol) seriously. Are you familiar with that marina layout? He's down the pier about halfway. Since you're near me, maybe we can caravan over there. I'm in East Windsor.

I really wanted to attend this too. That date is the ONLY date in May that doesn't work for me. Crap.

I actually have many (more than 5) bottles of blue still factory sealed in the pantry. Call me crazy, but I Genuinely enjoy the flavors of Black label better. Honest. It is less pungeant and smokey.
Anyways, you can have some of my black label if you like. But Do I really have to pour it into a plastic thermos? Really no glass bottles allowed?

If Tommy doesn't catch any fish, who has a case of the crabs that they can let Tommy catch?
