I did a best of 13.3@106.5 with a 2.1 60ft bone stock. Had 1/2 tank of gas. Even with the new tires traction wasnt so good. There was a C32 who did a best of 13.6@103.

Nice runs!, The C32 was my brother, his first time at the strip, not bad for street tires. He pulled a 2.02 60"

My Best run on my 65 was 11.6 at 122. Wonder what she would do with a tune, lol!!

Yeah he had an .040 light to my .054 (which I dont think is too bad on a .500 pro tree) and he went 11.18 on a 20 dial, double breakout. The MOV was .012.

Thanks It's a 1989 Trans Am GTA with a 3.8L V6 single 70mm turbo at 19psi boost on 93 octane at 3545lbs. Traps for the 11.27 runs were 119-120mph with 1.58-1.59 60fts. I was off the throttle and on the brakes on my 11.24 run trying not to breakout and only went 116mph, would have probrobly been an 11.19 or 11.20 based on the 1/8th if I woulda stayed in it. The car has been 10.50 @ 129mph on VP 116 octane fuel with 27psi of boost at a heavier 3640lbs. There's more info on my cars in the fquick link in my sig if anybody is interested.

I was looking for you since you wanted to run. The tech guy said the helmet I rented was no good for next time. I need a full face helmet because my car goes under 13s. WTF!? I'm not ****ing buying a helmet because I'm not a regular.

I had a great time, and real sorry u did not advance, and real sorry I only saw one run, but I got the whole thing on vid. Car looks and runs like a champ! U've done awesome work on the car! As soon as my PT61 is installed, and dyno tuned, its time for E-Town. I'll keep you posted.

BTW, thinking ahead, know of any good shops that can beef up a Supra auto tranny?

i need to buy a helmet anyway since i'm going to a driving event in a couple of weeks.

i don't think anyone w/ a stock clk55 was able to run under 13s. would love to be the first (i doubt its possible though)

The reason for the so so trap speed is the waiting on line idle when the temp gauge was almost 100c! The hottest I ever saw in my clk55. 12s is possible with drag radials. I saw a another car run 12.8@106 with very sticky tires. Its all about the launch. Well I didnt buy the clk55 for drag racing purposes. But I love it when it shifts to 2nd gear and the esp light gets on even when turned off

Thanks guys! Anyway I took the clk55 out today in the 80degree weather. I tried the manual mode. Going from 45mph in second gear the esp lights gets on! Even when turned off! I love the torque! BTW I want to head down to ATCO NJ racetrack on a cool night. Its suppose to be a fast track.
