Here's what I have so far for foods:

Tommy charcoal, burgers, cheese, Dew (and all utensils, plates, etc.)
johnp Rolling Rock, sausages
Nello Hot dogs, buns, beer, Weight Watchers points breakdown
Oxygen Various and sundry marinated meats
Chucky Chicken, pitas
Rick at least one of his children

Everyone else has only committed to smartass answers so far. So, if you see anything we're missing (and here's the key part) you're actually thinking about attending, post up what you're going to bring.

It looks like 79 with a chance of rain, so I say 3pm is a good start time. Which of course means I'm there at three, and make tyro's special bbq sauce by myself until people start dragging in around 4:15. If you have a problem with a 3pm start time, post a response.

It looks like we have enough food. I don't know what to bring. More beer? Better beer? A bunt cake?

I say we do it at 2PM. Some of these guys are coming from a distance so we start at 2, and end it a little earlier to beat/join all the traffic on the GSP and the Turnpike.

Rick, here's what I think we still need:
hamburger buns
condiments
GOOD beer (sorry, John - the Rock gives me bad flashbacks to Penn State)
soda
cups
chips
Doritos (had to sneak that one in)
possibly cole slaw/potato salad
and of course, a bundt cake

2 pm works for me as well.

I personally don't care, but there are going to be kids there, so I would be careful.

tt - usually, we have around 10-15, sadly. But my guess for this one is a little higher (no pun intended).

I'll be there a little early, as usual. For those who tend to get lost, there is driving information posted earlier in this thread. Once you're on Rte. 1, you take Parsonage Road PAST Menlo Park Mall, go through a couple of lights. As you down the hill just after the Target on your right, you'll see the park on your left, with the tennis courts. Make that first left after the crest of the hill, then your first right into the first lot. The cars should be there - I'll try to park my Orion Blue Ccoupe in a very obvious spot to help you out. If you want my cell#, pm me, if you think you'll get lost (and you know who you are).

Tommy, are we in the lower or upper lot?

Scratch that, the lower lot has no grills.

LRM1 - you're right. I'll be going to 287, taking that up, and then cutting east just to avoid the shore traffic hell. Though maybe the possible rain will make some pack up early Sunday.

What is the exact name of the park - it may be in my GPS and RBrenton won't have to guide me for the last 1/2 hour of the ride.

Is it Roosevelt Park, 68 Roosevelt Dr., Edison NJ 08837?

Yes, but that part of the park is to the left of where we will be.

A better intersection to put in your gps is parsonage rd and avenue, edison, nj, 08837. That's the intersection where I said to make a left onto to enter the park, then the first right to get to our parking lot.

That took all of 10 seconds on Yahoo to research, esquire.

Just put in the menlo mall address, then go past it, past the target to the light...make a left and then your first right.

REMEMBER, where we parked last time, there were no grills. The grils are towards the main area of the park.
