Okay guys, seems there is enough interest in this meet, and it's been a long time since we last had an Edison meet. So here it goes, you asked for it, you got it.
When: 11:00 AM Sunday, August 3rd 2008
Where: Roosevelt Park Edison, NJ (151 PARSONAGE ROAD EDISON, N.J 08817)
Who: Fanatics and all other Euros
What: A *******g meet
I know it may be a little early for most, but this is a public park, and spots do get filled up from people hosting BBQ's and family events... so the earlier we get there; the better. Also, like always: No Burnouts, No Speeding, and No Stupid Sh*t... There are Park Police that patrol the area. No cruise is planned, we're just going to chill, take pics, talk about cars, and just shoot the breeze. I will be giving out autographs later. We will meet up at the Ice Skating Rink, where we usually park at, hopefully we can find parking for everyone in time... if you don't see anyone, drive around in the area, we will find something.
So spread the word, take off from work, and tell the wifey that you'll go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond another Sunday... Hope to see you all soon!!

So I drove 88 miles from Long Island, made 5 laps around the park, visited every one of the so called "groves" and did not see ANY euros and or Mercedes.
Asked some nice people to point me to the ice skating building, they did, I went through there for the sixth time now and still it was just empty... So I did yet another lap through the whole park, saw no one once again.
So I pulled around by the ice skating rink again, sat down, had a smoke, had something to drink and hit the turnpike.
The one thing I did get to enjoy today was the traffic... it was beautiful. An hour worth of it coming through the Lincoln Tunnel on my way there, and then 3 hours worth of traffic on the way home taking the George Washington Bridge.
