NY Euro Meet 3/8/09 [MA Caravan]

Okay guys, provided the weather is tolerable, I'll be organizing a caravan starting in MA. Checkpoints and route are TBA, but we'll be driving through CT, so we can meet up with people there and continue on our way to the meet. I need to know who from MA and even CT would be interested in taking part in this caravan.

Please post if you are interested in joining this caravan.

If you guys want to make it a little easier on yourself and on the cars, I suggest the ferry route.. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...7&ie=UTF8&z=11

Hey.. you drive a Benz baller! Salt water? I don't think the ferry submerges at any time during the trip...

It might be easier...but its longer depending on traffic. According to google maps taking the ferry would make my trip over 5 hours

I honestly think it would be a hassle to take the ferry. Depending on the size of the caravan and the ferry times, it would most likely take longer to take the ferry. I don't know about you guys, but I love driving my car...

Not quite clear yet, but if I just take the route from google maps, it should look something like this:

Caravan starts somewhere on I-90 near Boston, then I-84 to I-91 to I-95

the alternative route could be the caravan starts at the I-90/I-95 intersection and we just take 95 all the way down, that way we could pick up rhode islanders, but this also means we wont go through ct

I'm in. We could take 90 to 84 to 15 then 95. Route 15 is a 2 lane expressway, with NO Commercial vehicles. I hate TRUCKS! hahaha Also, I drive 15 when I go to NYC and RARELY see any cops.... Masspike is the worst speed trap ever, so BEWARE!!!

looks like you guys are gonna have some fun. for some reason i think m4xm should lead

here are some speed traps to look out for:
about 1 mile before the throgsneck bridge right after 295 S splits from 95S. a leo usually shoots laser on the right grass shoulder.

if you take the clearview expressway which connects to the throgsneck bridge watch for the bridge cop shooting laser (sometimes thru his sideview mirror) on the last 500 ft of the bridge.

good luck and be safe!

Um, I think it's just you. hmmm?

Mike, we can meet up near you since we'll have to jump on the highway there anyway. We can figure that out soon. Not sure where Kevblah will be at that time?
