C55 AMG
Your C55 is a potent beast, especially with that Kleeman SC. Got dam... that thing can move. I was blown away, on how fast it accelerates. And of course I was at the back of the pack, but could still see the puff of black carbon coming out th exhaust 
I can honestly say, that I have never pushed my car as hard before this run. I was doing *** mph, (don't want to incriminate myself), and still you were pulling away. You have a monster on your hands my friend.

It thought you and khelawanb, were lunatics flying at those speeds, as I was starting to back off a little can't afford the ticket and legal issues that surround those speeds. As I paid for a ticket last year doing 97 in a 55 mph zone, cost me $1250 in total. And that one hurt me, with 5 points added to the license, I have been good this year, so one point comes off, just 4 more to go.

The only reason I asked was that your post about your 100% improved cornering, and I know that if you didn't have an LSD, that you would really see some more major improvements.

It's held on Saturday mornings starting around 7 am, but one should get there early to ensure a parking spot. You can google Cars and Coffee, Grest Falls VA for more information. This would be nice for our gathering.
I will provide you with more information from work.

Fellow AMG members in the DC area, what you do think about having a gathering at Cars & Coffee, that everyone could attend on Saturday mornings in Great Falls, VA? I just thought that this could be something, that would interest us. There’s no obligation to come, or stay. As there are lots of other car owners there, from various marques.
No pressure to coordinate anything, if you come you come. And if no one shows up, then fine, you can enjoy everyone else's cars.
I've seen quite a few Porsche's and other Euro & Exotic makes from time to time, when I've gone...
It would be amazing if, we could see several AMGs properly represented!

The official start of Katie's Cars & Coffee was the first Saturday in April 2011. It will run through the last Saturday in October. Invited are all classic car buffs in the greater metropolitan area. Scheduled time is from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, weather permitting, every Saturday in front of Katie's, which is located at 760 Walker Road, Great Falls, VA. (If you are not familiar with Great Falls, Katie's is located behind BB&T Bank and the post office off Georgetown Pike, next to The Old Brogue Restaurant.)
Katie's Coffee Shop will reserve all the parking spaces directly across from their entrance, for use by Cars & Coffee participants. There will be signage identifying the reserved spaces.
For those new participants, the concept behind the gathering is threefold: first, it's a pleasant desination on a Saturday morning; second, it's a chance to spend time with other car guys and gals while still being able to get home in time for weekend activities; and third, to have a good cup of coffee and view some really cool cars.
Stay as long as you want and, if you care to head down the road with others for a longer morning drive, that's great too.
The more the merrier, so feel free to share this information with friends and members of area car clubs who might also like to participate. Everything from antique trucks to rare Ferraris are welcome. Local Truimph, Jaguar, Corvette, Austin Healey, Ferrari Clubs, for instance, might be interested in learning about the event.

I'm also working on another AMG event at EuroMotorcars of Bethesda. The dealership should have their new C63 AMG Coupe in the next few weeks, if they haven't acquired one already. The date hasn't been set yet, as I'm waiting on word from the dealership. From my perspective the more events that are around, the more I can participate in them. EuroMotorcars has a event this Thursday Oct 6th, from 6-8 PM for the unveiling of 5 new models. Then there is a gathering in Gaithersburg on Nov 5th, then the event on Dec 4th in Baltimore.
I say why not put one together, it can't hurt.
