I almost bought an 84 325 when I was 17. My father talked me out of it. What a jerk.

I still have a ways to go before my BMW will be finished. I will have about 90% of it done this weekend, however then comes all the little stuff to finish. I would like to try and make it to the NY BMW CCA Advanced School later this month with the car but I don't know if I will be able to make it or not. Once I do get if finished though, I do need to put at least 500 miles on the engine before I do an event with it.
Right now, the hardest thing that I have left on the car is custom making the exhaust system, which I'm going to take the car to a friends shop and have him make it.

The car is street legal. It pushes just about every DOT law there is to the limit.
I'll be driving the car back and forth to work, and use it to run all my errands. That will rack up the mileage fairly quickly.

How do the people at work feel about you showing up with the competition?
In 22 years my car will be a trackcar with a transplant too....
