Nuk - thanks for posting the info. I got a little distracted by Midnight Club II last night, and couldn't put it down. It's addictive!

Wish I had known about the autox; I'll be getting my crx's hid nightmare install finished Sat morning, so won't be able to make it. Enjoy the loaner helmets! Ahhh, they smell good, don't they?

Can't...I have class on Sat. Morning from 8:30am-12:00pm.

Seeing as the Sunday thing seems organized, I will make the trip up and bring some supplies with me...see everyone Sunday

Tifo- I would say skip class but I am a HS drop out, so, don't listen to me, us folks don't get anywhere in life. If not, then I look forward to meeting you on Sun. Let me know if you want to caravan up on Sunday morning.

Tommy- Dude, it is the day time, you don't need ghey HIDS anyway, the CRX is a race car, wtf? Wuss.

Loaner helmets smell great and fit better too

If anyone's interested in buying my clear corner lamps (the ones on the impact strips), let me know, and I'll bring 'em. Steve should be sending me the Euro strips soon.

Tommy- Your clear corners are mine

Apricotscrub- My c-klasse had you grabbing dashboard and reaching for the seatbelt at the clublexus meet. I am not sure why so many other MB owners are so into doing anything else they can to not do anything?

ANYONE want to meet down in seaside to cruise, eat, drink, pick-up women, and get in bar fights tonight? TONIGHT, SAT? Call my cell 551 574 1801... I am going to go visit my parents in TR.

ROLL CALL

Dude, seriously, you need to get over your ego...you drive an "s" class, its not the end-all-be-all of cars...I am sure you heard this before, but you keep bringing it up...must you rank on the C's to feel better about yourself?

comparing...

There is no apples to apples without context. In what I do with my car, the only is300 to beat me was a fully raced prepped car with a 400 HP custom turbo.

I haven't lost to any 325s or 330 that I am aware of. M3's both the e36 and e46 + good drivers beat me. Other M3's with not so good drivers, don't.

I am yet to face off against many newer acura's. A GSR took second in the event I took third.

You do seem to look for trendiness and "fashionably sporty" vehicles. I remember your I flipped my SLK thread. You talked a whole lot of smack about MBs, but you are still here, still rockin the MB.

It's all good though. I'll show everyone your fingerprints in the dust on my dash tomorrow, and we'll all laugh at you

tif, no need to put other people down, i never compared my car to yours, don't get insecure about anything b/c c-class is not a bad car at all. Yes, I was taken for quite a ride in the car to say the least.

I am not insecure about anything. Unlike others, I list only my MB's on my sig. Last month, when I had 3 MBs I had them all on my sig. I own several other cars that are more expensive, but I don't see the point in bragging. Everytime i see a post of yours you seem to be making a comment on the "C" classes. I was just saying that you need to get over it.

Quality not Quantity

You've heard it before but I think this description fits this meet the best. Absolutely a wonderful group of people. Despite the small turn out, I was very pleased with the meet and thankful for the opportunity to meet everyone who came.

Thank you to all, and thank you for posting pics Erik.

Thanks to everyone who brought food and drink. Sorry I didn't. I woke up late.

Good showing of the Benz's fellas! I know this meet may not have topped the ClubLexus one in terms of quantity , but it looks like you guys pulled off a successful one. The weather seemed to have helped too. How were the drives in and around Bear Mountain Park?

Unfortunately, almost everyone had random "other things" to do, so we just hung out, ate, and dispersed between2:30 and 3:30 ish.

Could the final runs of the last heat at the Regional PCA autox at the Meadowlands on the way home. Wish the bums had fun runs...

What do you Lexus guys think about trying to co-organize a BBQ/ Beach/ Cruise down the shore in NJ some time in mid August? We could all meet up whenever in the AM and park somewhere on the bay side of a barrier island beach town. Hit the beach, reconvein to BBQ on the bayside, chill, then cruise at night....

We could try to get other Northeast groups BMW, Audi, VW, Porsche (we germs will let you Lexus guys roll because you're all pretty damn cool ) to join us for almost something like a mini car show?
