Really, have you seen a black clk ? Watch out, that may be me...

You have a silver coupe, right ? I'm gonna have to look out for it.

Yeah, I am going to definitely try to make this meet. Hopefully I'll have my rims by then but if not I'll still be there...

So BMW's and Audi's are also invited?

Hey all-

Eleni- Yup silver coupe, rolling with the guys from NRG racing in Queens.

Trini- We'll def be able to scheme on ideas for you ride.

Izz-My parents place is just a fall back, it is in TR, just across the bridge from Seaside. Plan is to do everything on the barrier island, park and bbq on the bay side, bake in the sun and party on the ocean side. Should be a nice long fun day.

Please post a link to this thread on the other forums... Tonight I plan on hitting up csportcoupe, bnzsport, and mercedesshop... please hit up these or other forums if you get to it before me. I also would like to post on the clublexus forum, those people are good guys/grrls.

This weekend I am going to find a recreation area on the bayside for us to park and cook in.

Talk to you all soon....

Has anyone noticed me eluding to acquisition of interesting parts on other threads...? I have something special coming!!!!

Has anyone posted to any other forums? I would like to set this up to be a true automotive enthusiasts meet, Audi, VW, BMW, others???

Thomas

GJ- Sorry I missed the last bmwcca event, I need tires before I can x again.

Hey Tom, its too bad you missed the last autocross! Because you missed seeing this:

A 100 yard long Powerslide!

So, When and Where is this Meet going to be?

Nuk: ................i'm sitting here in aticipation to see what you will have next......even though i haven't done any engin mods. i still like to here what you will be doing. I'm excited for you!

EL & Izz: it is an Alpine 7" it is brand new (like 1 month old) I will have the model numbers and such for you at the meet if i haven't sold it by then.

I'm very excited for this meet and this time i promiss not to take to many pics of my car, or at least post them all, hahahaha, lol. Nuk, i will take more pics of your car this time, the mod(s) and all!

FYI: i'm actually out of commission this week till friday. the E500 is in the shop, listen to this:
1) air conditioner condenser had a leak
2) sun roof button cracked
3) rear pass ashtray busted
4) remote key cracked
5) suspension sensor malfunctioning, actual cause from a defective airmatic suspension air line
6) 22,000 mile service

Car is not even a year old and all these issues. Mercedes is a piece of sh$%^t....................just kidding. i guess it's just gen one issues.

Haha- I guess the M swap isn't complete yet...

Looks like you took out a cone finally. Damn, my last post was complimenting how close you came but just edged it inside the cone.. lol, what happened? How'd you do it? No damage right? Looks like you got some nice speed going with that drift...

Man you are sick with those drifts...

This meet is going to be on 8/24 at the beautiful Jersey Shore... I am going to wrap up the particulars this weekend. Write up directions and snap off some photos. Exit 82 off the Garden State Parkway.

I am going to be at the M Club event this Friday, the X starts at 2 PM!!!!!

Jay- Sorry to hear about the list... it is like that at first. Our first year coupe's went through the same things....

Hint- Check perf. mods and W203 forums for details on the new stuff I couldn't hold it in... ;D

Thomas,

I should be staying in my own private beachfront house in Beach Haven on LBI that very same day...I just realized.

(just kidding, it's a weekly rental)

Maybe I'll be able to wander on up the coast for a bit.

Good idea.

Directions to my place:
Take Route 73 east to Long Beach Island
Make right turn at the light into Beach Haven
Ask for directions to Rick's from anyone on the street.

1pm sharp!

I found a place we can BBQ on the Ocean side beach (bring umbrella's to shade yourselves).

Island Beach State Park...

I do need to call and plan this with the Park so I need to know who many people with be coming. There is an addition $50 fee after a certain amount of cars and they will provide a parking area. We would need to bring our own grills and if there is any wind, the food might be crunchy. (there is always wind)

Another option is to BBQ at Ocean County Park and then cruise to the beach...

Thoughts, opinions?

Thomas

Where did everyone go? What tha???

Ok, honestly, there is no need for me to pay a hundred plus dollars out of my shallow as hell pockets if this is how many people we are going to have.

With the >20 people that RSVP'd in total, we should just BBQ at my parents and cruise to the beach when we are done. If no one else responds, that is going to be the plan....

What's the deal? People, go recruit... What tha???

Many of the usual suspects are MIA. Wonder where they went?

There won't be any food if Tommy doesn't show up.

I'd be interested. Is it for pimped-out MBs only, or can I bring my tank?

Has a date and location be finalized yet?

It's open to anyone, any make for that matter, who is enthusiastic about their car, and would like to meet the others from this and other boards.

The date is Sunday, 8/24. The location depends on the number of participants.

My parents live down there and we can BBQ and eat there if there aren't enough people for me to justify sending the additional money for the permits required for gatherings else where. I spent all day Sat. driving around the area, there really are only few options to facilitate our needs.

One option is to actually BBQ on Island Beach State Park, but that is $50 bucks + $10/ car.

Another is Ocean County Park. Not as easy to get to, and a longer drive to the beach.

So, if there are less then 30 people, there is no reason not to just take advantage of the house with two BBQs I have at my disposal.

Unless Rick wants to step it up and have crash his beach house on Long Beach Island... hint hint hint

So far what do we have, 10 people?

Nice- I know between 4and 7 of my friends from NRG Racing are going to come. Then a couple others from the autocrosses.

Not sure who else... The usual suspects have disappeared on this one. Not sure what's going on... losers!

I posted another meet on the 23rd in Westwood. We can chill there during the day then hit my place and drink ourselves stupid. Party at my place Please check my other thread... there are over 400 RSVPs for that one.

As it stands now, looks like we'll be chillin at my folks house. I spoke to them this weekend and they are fine with it.

Just let me know if anyone who is going is afriad of dogs. I've got a Siberian Huskey (Cin/Wht, blue eyes) and a PitBull/ Mastif mix (brooklyn mut). They are both very cool, but people who are afraid of dogs are afraid no matter what, so... I can put them up stairs while we are there.
