sorry guys, thought I had posted long ago....
While I cannot make it my brother is part of the F body club hosting the event. His name is Bart Critchfield and he drives an F-1 Camaro that is heavily moded in the engine. White with Black roof (I think the roof is black). Tell him his younger brother with the Benz said hey and wish I could be there.....

I'll post this here too since its getting more attention than the roll call thread...
Is anybody going to be coming thru downtown ATL on their way there? I'd love to go as a spectator. Unfortunately as a lowly freshman at Tech I don't have a car. If anybody is headed thru the city(my dorm is literally 50 feet from I-85/75 on North Ave) and doesn't mind giving a ride to a stranger let me know.

I would have gladly offered you a ride, but I had other plans immediately after the event and was not going back to Atlanta.

Thanks for taking some great video for me.....I watched the *unedited* video at my g/f house last night.

Attractive 'country girl' standing next to her boyfriend. Ahhhh, that's it! ZOOM IN!! 
Yep. The drag strip is in the background, but that is obviously not the object of his attention at the moment.
My g/f is asking "who took this video?".....my reply is "some dude I just met" LOL!! Think she believed me?? LOL!
The next scene cuts to a black SL55 doing a burnout....then several runs of the MBs against the formidable Z06s, and race-prepped Camaros.

I would like to thank Scott, Chappy and everyone else for the opportunity to meet, race and see some other AMG cars run at the track. I would also like to thank the Georgia F body Association for allowing the AMG gang to participate. Two runs were all I was able to make but my first run was good enough to show the crowd what a RENNtech tuned car is capable of (12.169 with 2.013 60 ft. time) on street tires. I lost my time slip or maybe someone forgot to give it back to me so I don't remember the MPH. Thanks also to my401 for helping with the driving from Palm Beach to home (1100 miles)!

It was great to meet you guys and the other AMG owners as well. It was a fun day. The GA F-Body guys were fun to play around with and great hosts.
The best my SL55 ran for the day was 12.66 at 108. It ran fairly consistent at 12.69 at 114 for the rest of the day both top up and top down. I was able to get in about 10 runs. temp became a factor in the afternoon.
Chappy posted a couple of additional pictures in his thread above.
Next time we will have to push for a better turn out.
I would love to see some of your videos at some point.
