Atlanta GTG AMG Day at the Drags 3/28/04
Silver Dollar Speedway in Reynolds, GA.
Sunday, March 28th.
Cost is $10 to get in and an additional $15 to Tech the car.
The SE F-Body Association has the track rented out for the day. They are gracious hosts and enjoy AMG cars as well. (Last time I went they had quite a few Z06 Vettes....)

As of today, I know of three AMG cars that will be going including my SL55.

A few more 'enticements' for any fence-sitters: 
Schiznick is working on some other very interesting competition ideas such as a "Best Light" category (yep, with maybe a prize or two thrown in). Other ideas are in the works and this is shaping up to be a very exciting day!
We are also planning on driving down in a caravan. At this point, it will most likely be the Marta lot across from Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta. We'll meet there in the morning (maybe 9 or 10am) and head down together. Quite a sight.....a dozen AMGs heading down I-75

Helmets are required for cars that run 13.99 seconds or faster in the 1/4. If you are pushing 300-400 hp, you will likely run in the 13s.

We will not be meeting at the Marta lot across from Mercedes-Benz of South Atlanta, as we will be heading down I-75 to Silver Dollar Raceway.
Any person wishing to caravan can meet up at the BJ's Wholesale lot located off I-75 South at exit 221. We'll be meeting at 9:30 and heading to the track from there.

Looks like I will make it! I am keeping my fingers crossed!!!! It will be nice to meet fellow MB owners who enjoy drag racing and high performance vehicles.
