Ft Lauderdale Car Meet/Show
Hi everyone for starters let me just say Im a big Mercedes fan and just love the new E55. I visit the mb forums every now and then to check out pics and see some of your new mods.
I own a Lexus GS 400 with a few mods and also a member of Club Lexus. I am 37 yrs old and a working professional here in Coral Gables fl.
My partners and I "ClubLexus" are in the process of hosting an elite performance car show on April 3rd in Ft lauderderale and want to how many of you might be interested in attending. We are looking to appeal to MB owners with modified cars , the c class ,eclass , s class etc and of course the beautiful AMG editions to join us along with the BMW M3,M5 etc for a day of fun. We are working on securing a portable Dyno as well as getting other vendors to participate.
We from clublexus are into modding our pride and joys tastefully and more for performance .. We also take a great amount of pride in the care of our cars and would love to have a friendly showoff between the 3 car lines

i think it would be smart to push back the meet for the week after April 3rd b/c Import Life carshow in Miami Beach Convention Center is on April 3rd. Just giving you guys the heads up!!!

sorry i thought Al had mentioned that on his post, we r definately moveing it back 2 probably april 23rd or so do 2 some shows that r coiming up like import life,lowriders,s&s,and moroso, its a busy show month here in florida so we r moveing it back 2 the last or second 3 last sunday of the month so we don't conflict....

the date is set for for sat april 17 ,more details to follow , sorry for any confusion but the import life show was causing some of it but now i here its been cancelledbut the 17th works for the management of the gym and at least it wont interfere with easter/passover
we are working out other details such as food prizes and maybe maybe having a bodybuilding exhibition and MAYBE bikini contest again still working on those details
the dj is set and management of the gym is considering no promises having power96 or similar live but again that is their decision
the membership part is being finalized as well , i think that will be more directed for show winners etc
myself and bluelex will keep you guys posted but come on out and show your pride and joys , i love those benzo's

as my partner bluelex has stated it is def on for the 17apr , the gym is at university and pines blvd in the publix shopping plaza
the gym is a huge upscale facility. the day should be lots of fun showing off your stuff
the outside dj is confirmed and we are trying , (trying very hard ) to get them to put on alittle body building exhibition and a bikini showdown outside
we spoke withe the toystore in ft lauderdale according the one of the managers , they would be willing to bring out a couple of their exotics for display
i will update you guys in conjuction with blue lex over the next week or so

the meet is shaping up nicely , so far it looks like 50+ from those who have committed from clublex,is300.net, e46 fanatics and from those here who have chimed in..
i would like to see more commitment though from more nicely decked benzo's , i know theres gotta be more s class amg's and e class amg's out there who would like to go head to head with the 7 series bmw and of course the gs 3/4 series.. i would like to see a 92-94 500e - e500 come and show , that was a car i almost bought 3 times, to me one of the best engineered cars ever made between mercedes and porsche..
can some of you here who know others with nice benzo's get them to come out for a day of showing 3 of the top car lines to the public and ourselves
we are still working on some other stuff but will keep you guys in the loop over the next week or so
