We got a permit for Grove 1 yesterday, so the meet will be on the up-and-up. And there will be no alcohol (this means you, Rick).

Please read this information. With such a large meet in a public area, we need to take this seriously:

TRI-HYBRID MEET RULES OF CONDUCT

1. No speeding, erratic driving or racing- If there is any of this
type of behavior, it will not be looked upon kindly. There is a great
danger when a large number of vehicles are speeding on public roadways. The last thing we want to do is endanger the safety of our forum members, and that of people on the roads in eneral. This includes any overly aggressive swerving, cutting people off, etc. As there will be a few caravans en route to the meet, there could be potential for catastrophe if someone decides to do their best Fast and Furious impression. Maintaining a safe speed on the road and not tailgating other cars can easily reduce this.

2. No Loud Music, Burnouts, Excessive Revving- Since we are going to be gathering in a public area, I'm sure we will be under much scrutiny from park security and local law enforcement. This meet could be ended very quickly with a "loud music" call to the police. The same holds true for excessive revving, burnouts, etc. The organizers of this meet understand that there will be people present that have EXTENSIVE audio/visual mods done to their rides, and want to showcase them. We fully understand and endorse that, but ask that you keep your demonstration short and sweet to avoid any unwanted attention. Those with exhaust mods, will be asked to do the same, just a couple revs to "show what 'cha got" not sitting there bumping against the rev limiter. Burnouts/donuts, etc will simply NOT be tolerated at this meet.

3. No Cross Brand flames- This meet has great potential to birth a
wealth of hybrid meets/collaborations in the future. This could be a networking opportunity of great proportions!! Just think of all the tuners, shops, online resources, etc. that could be shared amongst 3 premier luxury vehicle groups!! The last thing we want to do is let a few snide comments undermine this effort. The fact of the matter is, we all drive what we drive for a reason, that reason being solely important to us as individuals, lets respect that decision across ALL brands. No matter what, WE ALL STILL LOVE OUR CARS!!! So lets leave any pre-conceived notions at home and come with an open mind and respect for each other and have a GREAT TIME!

4. Alcohol Consumption- Due to the rules regulations of the public
parks, we are going to ask everyone to refrain from bringing alcohol to this meet.

We didn't started Starbacks meets yet, but weather improving, so we may do it soon.
Have a question to you though. Can you recommend me a racing harness which will prevent me mostly from sliding on my seat.
BTW. Are you going to go on track this summer?

Do you have a rollbar, or at least a seatbelt-to-seatbelt bar?

If not, then a harness could do more harm than good.

The setup that I have on the crx is an Autopower 4-point bar, and a M&R 5-pt cam-lock harness that keeps everything where it should.

There's a discussion on 4-pt ones at i-club in the interior section - might want to take a look at that as well.

Serg,

There is also those velcro chest belts that will simply hold you in the seat. I don't over tighten my harness so I don't see it compressing my spine or breaking my seat back, but you never know. Works great though honestly... I just need to get unlazy and go build the harness bar...

Had two employees suffer "incidents" this weekend, one emergency appendectomy, the other fell off a ladder while cleaning his camper and sliced open his neck on the bike rack when he fell. (although he suffered an 8" gash, severed some arteries, etc. he will be O.K.) Both will be out for a week, at least. Unfortunately, this will force me to work this Saturday, and I will now be unable to attend Let's plan another meet soon, at least for us MB folks, and I'll try again.
