OK, update on the meet:

weather is now saying high 50s, partially cloudy, with a 10% chance of rain - much better than they were saying a couple of days ago, so that's a good thing.

Raffles:

following wil be the official raffle rules, but as of right now, the MB section has an H&R suspension & Eibach wheel spacers (both from Gaston at Autoclass.net) and a set of clear corner markers with orange bulbs (W203). So, on to the rules...

Raffle Info and Rules:

A total of 6 seperate raffles will be held in the following breakdown:

1. Lexus (General)

2. Mercedes (General)

3. BMW E46 (General)
4. BMW E46 M3
5. BMW E36

6. General raffle for universal prizes.


* 3 ticket maximum per person. No exceptions.

* $1 per ticket.

* Participants must purchase tickets for the raffle that represents the car they own. Those tickets purchased will be reused in the general raffle for universal prizes. (Lexus owners will be asked to write the model of the car on the back of the ticket)

* All prize winners MUST be present at the meet and during the raffle drawings. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. If the holder of the winning ticket is not present, a redraw will be done.

* Raffle participants MAY NOT purchase tickets for
other members.

* The raffle will not be limited to forum members, but we will require that ONLY BMW, Lexus and Mercedes OWNERS can participate, for obvious reasons. If there are any questions about this please PM DGOT20s, lexusk8, tommy @ mbworl.org or myself.

* Winners of raffle prizes will be asked to take a photo beside their car along with the prize won and a banner of the sponsor who donated the prize (if a banner is available).

* EVERYONE is REQUIRED to have FUN!

There will be a centrally located folding table set up for purchasing your raffle tickets, so look for it as soon as you get to the meet.

Oh, and there are bbqs at the park - anyone wanting to do their own cooking is encouraged to do so, but please remember to clean up the mess. Thanks!

...oh, and steer clear of Yankee Stadium! This weekend will NOT be a good time for Boston license plates to be seen in that area! Take an alternate route. I am only partially joking. The Red Sox are playing at Yankee Stadium this weekend so not only will there be fierce traffic in the Yankee Stadium area, but Boston license plates will not be welcomed with opened arms (in that area).
